RIESI

RIESI - a nice and cosy home suit in 4-ply weight wool for the wintertime - a design made on request from my mother. The pattern is a ribbed pattern enjoyable making. Drop-sleeves. The leggings is formed after tailoring principles. The fit for this suit is super! Detailed written pattern. Worked flat.

Required skill level from 1 (basic) to 5 (advanced): 3↑.
Sizes: small - medium - large - xlarge.
The measurements given throughout the pattern are all in cm as well as inches.

Measurements for the jumper:
Bust: 90 cm - 102 cm - 115 cm - 126 cm (in: 35½ - 40¼ - 45¼ - 49½)
Length: 59 cm - 60 cm - 64 cm - 66 cm (in: 23¼ - 23½ - 25¼ - 26)
Measurements for the leggings:
Waist: 81 cm - 89 cm - 96 cm - 109 cm (in: 32 - 35 - 37¾ - 43)
Hip: 88 cm - 96 cm - 104 cm - 118 cm (in: 34¾ - 37¾ - 41 - 46½)
Side length: 100 cm - 102 cm - 105 cm - 109 cm (in: 39¼ - 40¼ - 41¼ - 43)
Seat height: 24 cm - 26 cm - 27 cm - 29 cm (in: 9½ - 10¼ - 10½ - 11½)
How to measure the seat height: have a seat on a table and measure from the table to the waistline.
Yarn: this design applies for a 4-ply fingering weight wool, 50 g = ca. 200 meters. In total 600 - 700 - 850 - 950 g, divided into 350 - 400 - 450 - 500 g for the sweater and 250 - 300 - 400 - 450 g for the leggings.
The original model: was made in the 4-ply wool BABY, 100 % merino wool. The yarn comes from Campolmi Filati in Florence (Firenze), Italy.

Accessories: elastic band for the leggings waist and buttons for the jersey.
Needles: No 2½ mm and 3 mm.
Tension/gauge in stocking st: 26 sts using needles no 3 mm = 10 cm (4 in).
