RIESI LEGGINGS

RIESI LEGGINGS - nice and warm leggings in 4-ply fingering weight wool for the wintertime - a design made on request from my mother. Part of the set RIESI. The pattern is a ribbed pattern which is enjoyable working. The leggings is formed after tailoring principles therefore the fit is super! Detailed written pattern. Worked flat.

Required skill level from 1 (basic) to 5 (advanced): 3↑.
Sizes: small - medium - large - xlarge.
The measurements given throughout the pattern are all in cm as well as inches.

Measurements for the leggings:
Waist: 81 cm - 89 cm - 96 cm - 109 cm (in: 32 - 35 - 37¾ - 43) - to adjust with the elastic band
Hip: 88 cm - 96 cm - 104 cm - 118 cm (in: 34¾ - 37¾ - 41 - 46½)
Side length: 100 cm - 102 cm - 105 cm - 109 cm (in: 39¼ - 40¼ - 41¼ - 43)
Seat height: 24 cm - 26 cm - 27 cm - 29 cm (in: 9½ - 10¼ - 10½ - 11½)
How to measure the seat height: have a seat on a table and measure from the table to the waist line.
Yarn: this design calls for a 4-ply (fingering weight) wool, 50 g = ca. 200 meters. To use 300 - 400 - 500 - 600 g.
The original model: was made in the 4-ply wool BABY, 100 % merino wool. The yarn comes from Campolmi Filati in Florence (Firenze), Italy.

Accessories: elastic band for the leggings waist.
Needles: No 2½ mm and 3 mm.
Tension/gauge in stocking st: 26 sts using needles no 3 mm = 10 cm (4 in).
