TRABIA

TRABIA - a becoming jumper in silk/cotton in stocking st or reverse stocking st with ¾ long set-in sleeves. There are a textured pattern for borders for body, sleeves and neck in knit and purl. Written pattern with chart for the borders. The edging around the neck is in reverse crochet. Worked flat. The pattern includes a version in a DK-weight cotton. The silk/cotton mix gives a light aran-weight quality.
Required skill level from 1 (basic) to 5 (advanced): 4↓.
Sizes: small - medium - large - xlarge - xxlarge.
The measurements given throughout the pattern are all in cm as well as inches.

Bust: 84 cm - 94 cm - 104 cm - 116 cm - 128 cm (in: 33 - 37 - 41 - 45¾ - 50¼)
Bottom width: 86 cm - 96 cm - 108 cm - 120 cm - 132 cm (in: 33 - 37 - 41 - 45¾ - 52)
Length: 56 cm - 58 cm - 60 cm - 62 cm - 66 cm (in: 22 - 22¾ - 23½ - 24½ - 26)
Yarn: this model calls for a silk/cotton blend, 50 g = ca. 80 meters. To use in total 400 - 500 - 600 - 700 - 800 g.
The original model was made in 1 strand of CABLÉ, 100 % cotton (250 - 300 - 350 - 400 - 450 g), worked together with 1 strand of SETA, 100 % bourette silk (150 - 200 - 250 - 300 - 350 g). Both yarns are from Campolmi Roberto Filati in Florence, Italy.
There is also a version worked in DK-weight cotton included in the pattern. To use 350 - 400 - 500 - 600 g.

Needles: no 4 and 4½ mm, crochet hook no 3½ or 4 mm.
Tension/gauge in stocking sts: 17 sts on needles no 4½ mm = 10 cm (4 in).
