Description: A sustainable and climate-friendly yarn which gives a beautiful appearance with an interesting surface. A superior quality. It is a worsted-spun, 100% Real Shetland Wool, 5 plied Sport Weight yarn, perfect for knitting Ganseys and Fair Isle garments and accessories. This 5ply Shetland Yarn takes inspiration from the colours in the Shetland landscape and the maritime heritage of the folk. Its available in 20 shades, using two bases - 13 shades are dyed on the White base and 5 of the same shades are overdyed on the Natural Grey base, these are the 'Twilight' shades.

Material: 100 % pure new Shetland wool. The fleece comes from proper Shetland sheep on the Shetland Isles collected and sorted by Jamieson and Smith (Shetland Wool Brokers Ltd.). The yarn is worsted spun in commision in England in due respect of the nature and environment.
Washing instructions: gentle hand wash at 30°C - suitable for a spin-dry.
Length: a 5ply sport yarn - ca 115 m per 50 g
Recommended needles: 2.5 mm - 3.5 mm.
Confectioned: in 50 g balls.
