ALIMENA - a spacious jumper in cashmere in a relaxed style where the textured pattern together with the wideness make the elegant presentation. The jumper is worked bottom up - in this old fashioned way I prefer. Drop shoulder sleeves to either work from top to bottom or to work seperately for then to join into armhole. The body was worked in rounds - the sleeves were worked flat. Written pattern with charts.
The model goes also well in wool.
Required skill level from 1 (basic) to 5 (advanced): 3↑.
The measurements given throughout the pattern are all in cm as well as inches.
Sizes included in the pattern: small - medium - large - xlarge - xxlarge

Measurements of the garment:
Bust: 108 cm - 118 cm - 132 cm - 145 cm - 156 cm (in: 42½ - 46½ - 52 - 57 - 61½)
Length: 64 cm - 65 cm - 66 cm - 68 cm - 70 cm (in: 25¼ - 25½ - 26 - 26¾ - 27½)
Yarn: this design applies for a 3-ply cashmere, 50 g = ca. 230 meters. To use 300 - 350 - 400 - 450 - 500 g.
The original model was worked in CASHMERE, 100 % cashmere, from Campolmi Roberto Filati in Florence (Firenze) in Italy. Unfortunately this yarn has been discontinued.
The model is also good in wool.

Needles: No 3 mm and 3½.
Tension/gauge in stocking st: 22 sts on needles no 3½ mm = 10 cm (4 in).
