ISOBEL - a becoming plain coloured spacious jumper in Shetland wool. The jumper is worked in rounds. The sleeves are worked flat separately for then to be joined to the body. The big collar is worked in Fisherman' Rib Stitch (Brioche Stitch) or an elastic pattern. The collar can be more or less fitted - both ways are explained in the pattern. Accurate written pattern.
Required skill level from 1 (basic) to 5 (advanced): 4↓.
The measurements given throughout the pattern are all in cm as well as inches.

Yarn: The kit contains knitting pattern and 2ply Jumper Weight Shetlandsuld, 100 % wool from Jamieson and Smith, Lerwick, Shetland Isles. 25 g = 115 m.

Needles: and circular needles (or double pointed) no 2.5 mm, 3 mm and 3.5 mm (not included in the kit).
Tension/gauge in stocking st (washed sample): 25 sts on needles no 3 mm = 10 cm (4 in).
