MARTINA

MARTINA - a beautiful jersey for the bairn in DK-weight cotton with button closure on the left shoulder. The pattern is inspired by the fishermen's guernseys. The body until armholes are worked in rounds and the drop-shoulder sleeves with a little gusset to optimize the movement of the arm, are worked flat - sts picked up along armhole and worked towards cuffs or alternately work the sleeves separately and then join in by sewing. Yarn: this design applies for a DK-weight cotton, 100 g = 250 meters. One needs 300 - 350 - 400 - 450 g in main colour A (dark blue) and 50 g in the second colour B (cyclamen).
The original model has been made in CABLÉ, 100 % Egyptian cotton, from Campolmi Roberto Filati in Florence (Firenze), Italy.
