CORLEONE - a chunky men's cardigan/jacket with vertical stripes formed by fisherman's stitches on the the background of plain knitting in reverse. The knitting goes across from front to front meaning no sideseams. Along the front a nice 2-sts band worked at the same time. The sleeves are drop-sleeves. Well written pattern with chart. Worked flat.
Difficulty of execution measured from 1 (beginner) to 5 (advanged): 3.
The measurements throughout the pattern are given in cm as well as inches.
Why has this model been designed? In order to make a practical and functionel chunky buttoned cardigan, this simple pattern was choosen.
Sizes inclosed in the pattern: small - medium - large - xlarge
Measurements of the garment:
Chest: 98 - 110 - 122 - 138 cm (in: 38½ - 43¼ - 48 - 54¼)
Length: 66 - 68 - 70 - 72 cm (in: 26 - 26¾ - 27½ - 28¼)
Wool: TINDARI, 100 % chunky merino wool, 8 - 9 - 10 - 12 balls/skeins. 1 ball = 100 g - 120 meters (3½ oz - yardage: 37 yds per oz).

Tension/gauge in stocking sts: 13 sts on needles no 7 mm = 10 cm (4 in).
