PETRALIA is a quite thick jumper in aran-weight cotton in a handsome rustic pattern which is enjoyable to work. The pattern is inspired from the British fisherman's jerseys. The sleeves are nicely fitted set-in sleeves. The knitting is not difficult - just follow the well explained written pattern with charts. Worked flat.
The pattern includes a version in a DK-weight cotton as our ALCAMO.
Difficulty of execution measured from 1 (beginner) to 5 (advanged): 3.
The measurements throughout the pattern are given in cm as well as inches.
Why has this model been designed? This jumper has been made in honour of the village Petralia in the Madonie Natural Park here in Sicily.
Sizes in the patterns: small - medium - large - xlarge
Measurements of the garment:
Bust: 84 cm - 94 cm - 104 cm - 114 cm (in: 33 - 37 - 41 - 45)
Length: 55 cm - 56 cm - 58 cm - 60 cm (in: 21¾ - 22 - 22¾ - 23¾)

Alternately one can work together 1 strand of a finer cotton, ALCAMO and 1 strand of a silk like SETA which gives a beautiful lighter and smoother quality.
