SICULIANA

SICULIANA - a spacious jumper in alpaca or wool in a relaxed style where the ribbed pattern makes it fitting the body in a smooth way. Beautiful wide plaits mid front and back. At the bottom of the sleeves there are borders in lace knitting giving a smart detail to the rustic look. Set-in sleeves formed as shirtsleeves - making the jumper to fit very well. Suitable for either a short crew neck or turtle neck. Written pattern with charts. Worked flat.
The original model was worked in alpaca.
Required skill level from 1 (basic) to 5 (advanced): 4.
Sizes: small - medium - large - xlarge - xxlarge.

Length: 57 cm - 58 cm - 60 cm - 62 cm - 66 cm (in: 22½ - 22¾ - 23½ - 24½ - 26)
Yarn: this design applies for a DK-weight alpaca or wool, 50 g = ca. 125 meters. In total 500 - 600 - 700 - 800 - 1000 g.
The original model was made in Alpaca, 50 g = ca. 100 meters.
But the wool SPORT, 100 % merino wool, is a very good alternative. Both yarns are from Campolmi Roberto Filati in Florence (Firenze), Italy.
