MELINDA - a lovely and useful kid jumper in an aran-weight cotton or linen/cotton. A beautiful textured pattern in moss stitch with parts in plain knitting with tip-coloured stripes in plain knitting in reverse. The sleeves are one in plain knitting and the other in moss st - or they can be made both similar in moss st or plain knitting.
The pattern is a written pattern with charts. Worked flat.
Difficulty of execution measured from 1 (beginner) to 5 (advanged): 3.
The measurements throughout the pattern are given in cm as well as inches.
Why has this model been designed? The grandchildren always give me inspiration to my work.
Sizes included in the pattern: 4 - 6 - 8 yrs
Measurements of the garment:
Chest: 68 cm - 72 cm - 76 cm (in: 26¾ - 28¼ - 30)
Length: 33 cm - 38 cm - 42 cm (in: 13 - 15 - 16½)
Material: our AGRIGENTO, 100 % Egyptian ara-weight cotton, 3 - 3 - 4 balls of the main colour and 15 g of tip colours. 1 ball = 100 g - 150 meters (3½ oz - yardage: 47 yds per oz).
Or our NOTO, 50 % cotton/50 % linen. This yarn is worked with 3 strands giving the work a rustic surface.

Needles: no 4 mm and 4½ mm.
Tension/gauge in pattern: 18 sts on needles no 4½ mm = 10 cm (4 in).
