ARMERINA

ARMERINA - a wonderful classic dress in a lovely casual style with a relaxed but close fit. Plain knitting in reverse with a small tip-coloured border at the body bottom, on the sleeves and round the neckband. Above the coloured border there is a border in moss stitches worked from a chart - and this on the sleeves as well but more narrow. The front is shaped after dressmaking principles. The model is not difficult to make. Worked flat. To dress in an elegant way - also in knitwear with this dress.
This model is suitable for all age groups.
Required skill level from 1 (basic) to 5 (advanged): 3↑.
Sizes: small - medium - large - xlarge.

Bust: 82 - 92 - 102 - 112 cm (in: 32¼ - 36¼ - 40¼ - 44¼)
Hip: 90 - 100 - 110 - 120 cm (in: 35½ - 39½ - 43¼ - 47¼)
Length: 92 - 94 - 96 - 98 cm (in: 36¼ - 37 - 37¾ - 38½)
Yarn: this model calls for a linen/cotton blend, 50 g = ca. 80 meters. To use in total 600 - 700 - 850 - 1100 g and 25 g each colour for the stripes.
The original model has been made in Lino Cotone 1/7000, 50 % linen/50 % cotton (worked with 3 strands), from Campolmi Roberto Filati in Florence, Italy.
Also suitable in an aran-weight cotton (the olive green version) which was made in CORDONETTO.

Tension/gauge in plain knitting: 17 sts on needles no 4½ mm = 10 cm (4 in).
